A few weeks ago I came home to a small package at my front door. Influenster sent me a box of goodies to review. I signed up for this community a little over a month ago hoping that I'd get picked to receive what they call VoxBoxes, so when I got the e-mail saying I had been picked I was super excited. Please note that these items were sent to me, free of charge, in exchange for an honest review. I was not paid to give these reviews. These reviews are my own thoughts and were not coerced by any of the brands listed below.
I'm not a beauty junkie, in fact I'm very simple. I wear minimal makeup & hardly ever have my nails done, so this box of goodies was a great treat. A little too great, I'm not sure how my minimal act is going to continue after this box.
Included were several items:
Bath & Body Works Fine Fragrance Mist in Moonlight Path - which was my least favorite scent when it first came out. Mainly because everyone was wearing it. But it's been a great scent to mix it up a little. Normally I wear their White Citrus which is my favorite, but since I've started wearing this one I'm starting to like it more. I've even gotten a few compliments from the male population. I think that automatically makes it a new staple - what do you think?
Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips - these are seriously the best invention ever. I hate painting my nails because I'm not patient enough to let them dry so I always end up with smeared paint or chips almost immediately. These suckers go right on - you don't have to wait for them to dry- and stay on. I was on day 5 when they started to peel. You just can't beat that!
Aveeno Body Wash - wasn't really enough to give a real review - I feel like when using a lotion or body wash you really need a full 7-10 days to get an accurate reading of the product and it's affects. It smelled really good and did leave my skin soft. I would be willing to do another review on this or similar product, but again it would have to be enough for 7-10 days worth of use. 3-4 just isn't enough.
Dr. Scholls For Her Ball of Foot Cushions - These are a lifesaver - or should I say foot saver. As a property manager I am on my feet 80+% of my work day walking the property. This little insert made my feet feel so amazing. This is definitely a must have if you're on your feet. Especially if you wear heels or wedges. *Also right now on their site they're offering a $2 off coupon - give them a try, you won't be sorry!*
SoyJoy bar in Blueberry - I wasn't able to eat this to give you a review on it, as I've gotten older my body doesn't handle soy very well, even if it did I'm not a fan of soy in any way shape or form. I'm sorry - I've heard they are delicious though. Just not my thing.
Sheer Cover Duo Concealer - I traded in my Mary Kay concealer for about a week to give this a try. I have to say I was pretty impressed with the results. I would definitely reccomend this to someone else. It was very smooth and blended well. It is just a little too pricey for me.
ChapStick: Lip Shield 365 - I already adore ChapStick brand chapsticks so I was super excited to see this in my box. I really like how it works. I stopped using my regular product for about a week to test it out and so far so good. My lips are smooth & healthy. I'd recommend this to anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors - my lips feel super hydrated as opposed to the dry and cracky that they get in the summer heat.
I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with everything that I tried and would be willing to purchase most of the items I tested. I can't wait to get another box of goodies to try out. Hopefully sooner rather than later!

Very cool box & great reviews. I've always wanted to try the Aveeno body wash and I'll definitely be trying the Sheer Cover since I have yet to find a great concealer for the bags under my eyes.
